HOW DO YOU CLEAN YOUR GEMS?

Precious stones have incredible virtues that act on the body and mind. By wearing the stone close to the body, you can enjoy its benefits by drawing energy from the energy of the stone itself. But when the stone loses its energy or becomes impure, the effects will be felt less and less, hence the interest in cleaning the stone. This operation will essentially consist in purifying and recharging the stone, but how to do it?

WHEN SHOULD YOU THINK ABOUT CLEANING YOUR GEMSTONES?

Most of the time, when you have opted for lithotherapy or gemstone care, you wear the stone all day long to draw energy from it so that the energy of your stone will gradually diminish or deteriorate. This is why purifying and recharging the stones is essential for them to recover their initial powers. There are two ways to purify and recharge a stone: - Purification by water and sunlight is recommended for a regular purification to be done once or twice a week for small stones. This method is also ideal to recharge the stones when you have just undergone a stressful situation or an emotional shock. - Purification by earth is recommended for tired stones whose power has almost disappeared and which water and sun can no longer recharge.

PURIFY AND RECHARGE BY WATER AND SUNLIGHT

One of the earliest methods of cleaning and purifying gemstones is water purification, but it is often combined with sun purification for better results. This solution will allow your stone to recover its power and energy thanks to a rather simple process specially adapted to a regular purification. No need for a cleaning liquid or specific equipment to achieve this since you just need to put the stone in a bowl of mineralized water. Then put the bowl of water outside, in a place well exposed to the sun and the moon, so that it can recharge for a day and a night. Avoid reusing the water as it is now negatively charged.

PURIFY BY THE EARTH

Purification with earth is a very powerful process, which is why it is only recommended for stones that are already tired. To perform it, the stone should be buried in the ground in a positively charged and quiet place, ideally in a place far from the city. The duration of burying the stone will depend on its size; for small stones, 2 weeks will be sufficient, while large stones need to be recharged for 2 months. After this period, clean it with microfibre cloths and let it rest in the sun for a day.
